Good evening, or I should say good morning (as it is just past midnight now). I have started this blog to try to break down some of the barriers and shed some light to my Lib Dem colleagues in Scotland, and anyone else who is interested enough to read this, about what is going on in the European Parliament and the EU at large.
I currently work at the European Parliament for our only Scottish MEP, Elspeth Attwooll. I think that she does an admirable job, but I believe it would be in the best interests of Scotland if, when the 2009 election comes, we can send 2 Scottish Lib Dems to the European Parliament instead of just one.
I hope to have a free and frank discussion on this blog and do hope that people visit with their comments. I will post more later as things develop.
